The Cheryl Bobbit Scholarship Fund was started in 2013 in honor of SWM’s late Board Member, Cheryl Bobbit. Cheryl Bobbit was a pillar in the community. She believed in paying it forward and helping individuals who were less fortunate. She was known to donate her time, money, and energy wherever her spirit guided her. Cheryl’s community involvement includes but is not limited to: Foundation Board Member for Dekalb County Schools, AT&T SE Regional Chairperson for the United Negro College Fund, and Minority Recruitment Board Member for The American Red Cross. She was also a regular volunteer with Hosea Feed The Hungry and a devoted member of her church choir.
